Wizard of Oz meets Glenn Oak. I wish they were more creative with depicting heaven. Apparently heaven doesn't like the Internet.
I'm sick of Ruthie, but the series is otherwise finishing itself off with dignity.

Ya...what is heaven's deal with the internet. Jeez. I was very annoyed with this episode. The whole "you helped my ___________" got redundant. Also, why the ______ would Annie not be worried. He said he was coming home. She tried to call him on his cell and office. He has a HEART CONDITION!!! Come on. "I'd know if there was a problem." Did she know when he was diagnosed? Come on Annie. I wish he died but he could have been saved IF someone got to him sooner.
That being said; I like the show. Lucy annoys me greatly, but its not bad. Ruthie is coming along from the pit she was dug into. Where's Robby? What happened to that guy?

the writing for this show is the most consistent i've ever seen. They beat home a point 100x because they think you dont get it the first time.
heck for the holiday you'd think eric would want to SEE his kids! (actually yes he is according to the story but we never will so it's an empty promise)
I guess showing him passed out by the side of the road would have been too intense?
no way kev wouldnt have been out the door 1 minute after the first missed call.

I don't watch this show expecting realism. :) I watch it because it's entertaining. I also think the Ruthie thing is one of their many lessons. While it annoys me, I can see the lesson they are trying teach with it. I think they are leading up to a good ending to the series and I hope they can have the dignified ending that I'm hoping for, even if it does come with Eric's death.
