Wow, what a gem of a movie; I totally wasn't expecting anything so good and funny and moving, especially as a made-for-TV movie; even moreso because it was on a cable channel, not even a major network.
I'd been wondering for a long time if John Stamos cleaned up well anymore; the perpetual 5-o'clock shadow his character on ER has was disappointing. (He does.)
And it was fun seeing Sean Maher (Simon from Firefly) again.
I guess I didn't pay any attention to what the movie was about before watching it, so it was really funny seeing one of the classic statements play out... "what if one day all the gays went on strike." Kudos to whoever wrote this movie. Good job.
