My Tivo Series 2 has just stopped responding after I choose to record a show from the guide.
Here are my steps:
1. Press the guide button
2. Browse around and find a program to record
3. Press the record button
4. Select to record from the screen that pops up.
I see a please wait in the top left for a few seconds then it disapears and from that point on I'm unable to press any buttons on my Tivo remote.
The Tivo works correctly, records all programs including the new program, except I can't change channels, go to the Tivo menu, etc.
After I yank the power cord it works until I try to record from the guide. I've done this three times since last night's Family Guy.
