I haven't seen this posted here yet. This video is about a month old I believe:
http://daledietrich.com/imedia/2006/12/05/tivos-evan-young-discusses-the-details-of-the-new-tivocast-service/
It's a terrific talk. I embedded the video and blogged a bit about it. My primary concern is that this service, as it pertains to video podcasts, will be too much of a walled garden. All I have to go by are Evan's comments. I could be wrong.
I for one would love a service where I could subscribe to ANY video podcast through the service - I call that TiVoCast Raw, compared to the fully functioning, fully indexed, walled-garden video podcast service that Evan seems to be describing.
If anyone has any more details on this, and can allay my walled-garden fears about this, I'd be happy to learn more.
I discovered this through Davis Freeberg's terrific blog here:

Davis provides a really good summary of the talk for those who don't want to listen to the whole thing themselves.
I now subscribe to dozens of video podcasts thorugh iTunes. I would MUCH prefer to view them through my TiVo Series 3!
