Series 2 Cable vs Satellite Recording Priority

Does the S2 SA record the Sat input over the cable?

I had a S1 SA and it always choose the Sat over cable.
My new 5400 S2 does not. I had to remove the cable channels to get it to record the sat channels.

The cable is connected to the RF, and the Sat is connected to the s-video.
I re-ran the guided setup. No luck.

The only thing changed is I added a 'B' drive. So, now TiVo won't support the problem.

My Series 2 (TCD240) records Sat (actually HD OTA STB down) instead of cable when recording from a duplicated channel. From what I've read, the behavior is different on the DT S2 models, perhaps the behavior is actually tied to the software version.

What version of software are you running?
