All it took was one well designed episode like this one to make me despise everything about Paige. Precocious brat.

I guess we chalk up the way Sara and Tommy dealt with Holly to emotional trauma, but that was really a stupid thing to do in the first place, and just as stupid to go off on her when she came with that proposal, and then thirdly stupid to behave like she did when she ultimately went to Holly's and accepted it. And if they were going to behave like that, why didn't they ever threaten to reveal who her father was to Rebecca?

I like Holly and Nora best when they're getting along; and it'd be neat to see most of the family be more accepting of her, maybe even for exactly the same reasons Nora is coming to terms with it.

I'm not sure what I think about Justin's storyline. I'm not sure this was what I really thought his character was all about back in earlier episodes. It feels like some poll is driving his character being portrayed as a good little soldier when that wasn't the original intent.

And this whole Nora-pushes-Hanukkah-for-Paige thing... I suppose emotional trauma is to blame again, but it seemed like we were past that point.

OK, funny how I'm criticizing all this stuff but really enjoy the show. :)

IMO, Nora has handled her husband's betrayal better than most of the rest of the family. (I say most, because I don't think the affair even registered with Justin ... he just seems oblivious to it ever happening.)

I'm not sure what I think about Justin's storyline. I'm not sure this was what I really thought his character was all about back in earlier episodes. It feels like some poll is driving his character being portrayed as a good little soldier when that wasn't the original intent.I honestly thought that Kevin would hit on the idea to have Justin tell the army he's gay, especially after Justin tried to thank Kevin and Kevin told him, "You're so gay." That could have been a funny plot to watch over a couple of episodes: Kevin coaching Justin. Too bad it didn't happen, and instead we got the brigadier general with a heart of gold who gives Justin 6 months to clean himself up. Hmmm ... wouldn't that make it around season finale time when Justin has to report for duty?

OK, funny how I'm criticizing all this stuff but really enjoy the show. :)I really don't find too many faults with the show, but I do consider it a guilty pleasure.

I think I need to rewatch this episode. I missed the negotations with Sara, Tommy and Holly. I loved though how Sara said welcome to the family business. I thought....Hasn't Holly been in the family business secretly all along? She probably knows tons of things that the dad wanted to do with the company etc but coudln't/didn't.

I hate when they don't show it, even reruns. It is a great show.
