WTF??!Tivo Ad at the end of the show in MENU

OMG...

I just got an advertisement at the end of a TV show in the 'delete show' menu....

what is this world coming too.....

not to mention Tivo hasn't gotten Amazing Race recording length right all season...

If the show always runs over or starts late because the NFL ran late or CBS decided to end the show late, then maybe you should pad the recording. Seems pretty simple to me.

I have received it as well, and there are no extra clicks at the end of the show. Instead of Delete now, Delete Later, there is a 3rd option with the title of the advertisement. To get to the ad, you press the down arrow, then select. Otherwise, nothing has changed. It is more keystrokes to get to the ad, not more presses to get back to the menu or delete a show. So what exactly is the problem? TiVo will obtain ad revenue from this method of advertising, and possibly become a stronger company because of the additional revenue.

As for the Amazing Race - TiVo has recorded it properly. Did you pad the AR? I did at the beginning of the season and have not missed an ending yet. You need to blame the NFL and CBS for allowing the games to run late. How about attacking the extra long ads on CBS which cause the games to run late?

TiVo has done nothing wrong in either of these cases.
