'Soon' apparently. CES is the second week of January (I'll be there again), maybe it'll be launched in conjunction with the show for press.

I think it's highly likely you'll see these new features on the S2 platform before you see them anywhere else. So I guess my answer would be yes.

Grrrrrr, no .AVI conversion. Just quicktime, WMA and mp4Don't jump to that conclusion just yet. I'm betting there will be (possibly unofficial) support for a number of other formats, based on the Youtube example and current TiVo Desktop encoding software.
