11/9 - SNL w/ Gwen Steffani

That was the funniest show ever...by that I mean Gwen Steffani has COMPLETELY lost her mind. THat was the dumbest: song, dance routine, music, and to cap it off...Gwen, who is usually known for fashion sense...the WORST costume ever.

My wife laughed the whole time, I was dumb-struck...we both waited to see the punchline, until we realized it wasn't a joke...just maybe the worst musical performance ever on SNL...and there have been some really bad performances before...

Looked like she was trying to out-do Beck. But that's what he's known for.

Actually, the whole performance reminded me of Fergie's (from the Black Eyed Peas) solo career. I don't like Fergie, and Gwen wasn't nearly as good as Fergie is.

I was waiting for the punchline as well. Tenacious D's last week was hilarious, but you expected it to be. They even incorporated cast into the performance. Gwen was just horrific; I Tivo'd (I love that verb) past it after about the 1st 30 seconds of my chin being on the floor in horror.
