I just picked up a Sonicview SV1000 and I would like to put this on my Tivo S2. Anybody else try this or know if this will work?

not sure then. It has svideo output so can go to svideo input on the TiVo but the IR codes are the question mark then. www.tivo.com has a support forum there that may show some info on whether TiVo supports the IR codes for the SonciView.

You might check the undergound forum here as well to see if any hacks are around to add those IR codes

Yep. The IR codes is what I'm concerned about. I'll check the Underground. Thanks for the help.

Its a DVB-FTA receiver. TiVo doesn't support those, simply becasue there is no service that those receivers legitimately receive that TiVo supports.
