View Full Version : Billing Issue for Only the Series3

On a recent trip to LA my Amex card info was somehow stolen... (I feel bad for the idiot that bought an EZ-Pass with it...)
Anyway... I went to the Tivo site to update my DVR billing (credit card) info, and YOU CAN'T UPDATE THE INFORMATION ONLINE.
Even more annoying is the fact that you need to update EVERY DVR INDIVIDUALLY!
Huh? It's not as though I don't own all 3 Tivos attached to my account.
At any rate, I'm getting this messge:
"Sorry, you are not the billing contact for this DVR, so you cannot view billing history for this DVR."
This is, of course, a load of crap.
Does anyone know if there is a customer service EMAIL address? I'm on the road and will not be able to call them and wait for an eternity (sp) on the phone.
Thoughts? Comments? Praise? Ridicule? Spelling Corrections?

Are you on monthly ? Who set up the account ? only the person who set up the account can make changes. I have only seen this problem for lifetime service TiVos that you purchase from somebody. We need more Info.

Yep, exact same problem I have with my S3 billing. I've spent more than a few hours on the phone with TiVo CS and they seem clueless as usual. I can change billing on my old, now-deactive S1, and both my old S1 and new S3 are on the same credit card.

My S3 is under my name... and all 3 tivos are paid with the same credit card... and the S3 is listed online with my other two Tivo2's.
However, I get that error when I attmept to update the billing credit card info.
