Tivo Enhanced Content on Cable and wrong Channel?

is the Series 2 Tivo Supposed too get Enhanced Content from channel 51 (Discovery Channel) at 401:am every morning? A Teleworld Paid Program was on, and I don't Concider this "Tivo Enhanced Content" I know Directv Tivos get Enhanced Content, but there's usually nothing broadcast on the Channel.

Teleworld programming is where the TiVo gets Showcases (TV Guide "What's On" and ads, mostly). The channels vary as well as the time. I think I get one at 6:30 AM from time to time.

If you're up and want to watch something else go ahead. It will just try again the next morning. If you're not up there shouldn't be any reason for it to bother you. This is the lowest priority prgramming so it shouldn't ever interfere with a show that you or the TiVo would otherwise want to record.

I'm hoping that this stuff eventually gets moved over to TiVoCast for those with broadband, although it's sometimes entertaining to sit through the entire half hour block.

Thats funny... I woke up at 4:03 this morning to let the pug out and noticed that the tivo was recording... I wondered what it was so I turned on the tv and saw that it was still on the Hallmark channel that I had recorded March of the Penguins on the night before.

I pulled up the now playing to see why it was recording... thinking that it had gone wrong again (I just revived my tivo after it's death 10 months ago) but it was not still recording "that show" and when I tried to change channels it said something about transferring Enhanced Content... It was showing a Paid Program about the Toyota FJ Cruiser at that time... I am guessing that it doesn't matter what channel it's pulling from... is that correct?
