Image Upgrade and DVR Brand

I took an image from my DSR704 and put it on my HDVR2. Everything seems to work as expected. Under the manufacturer in system info the HDVR2 now also reads as the DSR704. Is this normal? If so is there any way or need to change it back to HDVR2?
