mfs_ftp between SD and HD directivo?

Is there a "simple" way to copy all recordings from an DVR-39 and an HR10-250 using mfs_ftp?

I just want to move everthing that's been recorded from one unit to another. Since the HR10 can't use MRV it'll require using mfs_ftp. That's fine, I've managed to get it working on both units. And none of the recordings are encrypted on the SD unit. I could copy everything from one to a PC and then upload them back up again but that seems rather the long way around.

Can I just telnet into one of them and push/pull the recordings?

You can do direct Tivo-to-Tivo transfers using FXP via any standard Windows FTP program that supports FXP. While you can transfer any recordings between any Tivo, you can only play back standard definition recordings on the DVR-39. That means you won't be able to play back any HD recordings made on the HDTivo after you've transferred them to the DVR-39.
