Since plenty of my previous posts have been CENSORED by the staff here, I will try this one last time with the notion that PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE (ie; news) is available to everyone, no matter how much this website denies that it does exist -- by it's censorship actions.

With TiVo DRM out of the way, here's how to enjoy .tivo on your Mac
Posted Dec 5th 2006 12:31PM by Paul Miller

It took a while to crack that pesky TiVo DRM, but now that the TiVo File Decoder is finally ready to do its job and decrypt those .tivo files into MPEG-2, utilizations of the hack are coming hot and heavy. Our pal Dave Zatz put together a handy little guide for the Mac users out there, who have been sitting on the sidelines up till now, which details how to connect to your TiVo, transfer the files, crack the DRM and enjoy the videos with existing Mac software. Right now the process involves getting your hands dirty with a little bit of Terminal action, but hopefully Galleon or some other bit of software will be integrating the process before too long. But for now, with just a little bit of effort, you can finally view the media you've recorded on your chosen DVR with your chosen operating system.

OMG dude, give it a rest. The only reason your other post was deleted was because it was a duplicate. You were told this. You are not being persecuted.

give what a rest? This is the second time that I have written up about the censorship.

duplicate? I didn't double post. nor did I find any prior discussion of it by using the search tools provided by this website.

if it was a duplicate post, why not just close it with a link to the "original" post? or at least email about why my original post had been deleted.

either way, this is NEW information relating to the TiVo MAC users, there is no reason to delete this one.

except that discussing non tivo sanctioned extraction is a no-no here.
