You know how the SVR-3000 has that sticker on it telling you not to move the Tivo at all while it is running. Well I was manipulating my entertainment center shelves and now know what it sounds like when the drive head scrapes on the hard drive platter. Anyway, one of my two 160GB drives failed as a result.
I have the original 80GB tivo drive on the shelf, but I didn't feel like upgrading manually (Been there done that) and still didn't have LBA48 support.
Just wanted to let SVR-3000 owners here know that the new Instant Cake ISOs from http://www.dvrupgrade.com support LBA48 and work perfectly for the SVR-3000. I've now got 400GB+160GB fully addressed in the SVR-3000. Yeah its not as beautiful as a Series 3, but its Lifetime!
Waiting on Series 4 here....
