S2 Upgrade Hard Drive

What is the largest Hard Drive I can install in my S2?

Any brand recommendations?

Anything else I need to be aware of?

AFAIK there's no limit to the size. Current largest HD's on the market are 750GB I think.

Personally, I'm fond of Seagate. I like Hitachi drives too, but I think they run hotter than the Seagate.

Weaknees sells a line of Maxtor drives specifically designed for stuff like TiVo (embedded gizmos) that tend to run quieter and cooler.

I *think* you could do two 750gig drives. That should give you something in the range of 1,500 hrs... Weaknees has the appropriate drive bracket.

I also prefer the Seagate SV drives plus they have the best warranty out there right now.
