Hi

Both of these have been working perfectly until about ten days ago, when I realies I was no longer getting my dailymail at work. Haven't tried highlights until today and that no longer works.

I *think* the ten days would tie in with me changing daily call from network to dialup, I changed it back the following day, so surely these should still work if this was the cause?

highlights error:

This is the end of my dailymail log (before garbage clearance):

I'm happy to post a log, if that will help somebody to help me.

A couple of points,

Dailymail is still being generated (I can view the most recent from TW)

I've spotted the "network is unreachable" on both of these, but I can access TW from outside my network and dailycall works over network.

Anyone got any ideas?

TIA

Hi,

Take a look at the checking procedure here (http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb/showthread.php?p=4020041&&#post4020041) in the main Dailymail thread.

It is possible that your ISP has changed the IP address of your smtp mail server or (less likely) the port number for smtp.

If the test described in the above post fails, try to 'ping' your mailserver name to verify the IP address is correct.

If your mail details are correct it could be related to changing between network and dialup. This is getting beyond my area of knowledge but you could check the contents of /etc/rc.d/rc.net.

Hi

Thanks for the suggestion, didn't work :(

I think I may have been wrong in my original post when I said I could connnect from outside the network, I thought I had, but I tried to today and couldn't

Also, I've just noticed I have no guide data on BBC, so it looks like the problems a bit more fundamental than I originally thought.

I've double checked nic_config_tivo and it's set to network, checked the tivo's connected to the router, rebooted. Still no good.

Any ideas?
