Just switched from cable to dish tv. Unfortunelty, when I installed my TIVO, I trashed all of the xtra parts (inlcluding the sensor).

Of course now I need the sensor so that TIVO can have control of the satelitte box.

Is there a way to purchase this sensor from TIVO or anywhere else?

Please help, my wife is ready to choke me without her TIVO working properly.

Even though you posted in the wrong forum (this is for DirecTV receivers that run Tivo software), we will help. You can buy extra IR emitters from the Tivo store for $7. http://www.tivo.com/2.7.1.asp

Not being overly happy with those mega large flashers, I use one from Niles Audio which is very small and is designed to be attached right over top of where the sensor is. Works just fine.

I got mine at Sound Advice (South Florida) but you can probably fine them elsewhere.

The unit is the MF1 and you can read about it at nilesaudio[dot]com
