I'm am quite new to this. I have successfully added a drive to my dvr80 and have also purchased a drive that has the image with PTVnet capabilities to use on another tivo. Can you use MFStools to add another drive to a PTVnet drive in exactly the same way that it was done with a oem drive. The reason that I ask is in the directions it states "upgrading a non modified drive". A PTVnet drive is obviously modified. Also, can I do an exact copy of the PTVnet drive to use in my other Tivo. Both tivos are series two with version 6.2 and look exactly the same on the inside one is a dvr40 and the other is an dvr80. One is Philips and the other is RCA.
