Directivo to Tivo [Text View]

Is it possible to take a Direct TV Tivo series 2 for satellite turn it in to a regular Tivo series 2 for cable.

Well, there is a way.

Sell the DirecTiVo on eBay and use the proceeds to buy a standalone TiVo.

I'm new to this forum & i have 3 DirecTV with TiVo and i heard that DTV is talking with TiVo and the talks don't look good so if TiVo stops renting to DTV,what does that means to me as a owner of a TiVo ?

DirecTV and Tivo extended their contract for another three years so you'll still be able to use your DirecTivos until about 2010 and possibly longer.

Remember, UTV is still being supported. And it isn't produced any longer.
