2 separate issues with my DTV HD TiVo
CONDITION 1
I am experiencing short (one second or less) audio drops when connecting my DTV HD TiVo with an HDmi interface. Switching to fiber optic audio and component video corrects this problem. I only recently got a receiver that would switch HDmi so this condition could have existed from new. The video is unaffected.
CONDITION 2
I am experiencing audio drops that lasts more than a second (sometime several seconds) and ends in a slight picture pixilation. This is noticed in over the air broadcasts and is noticed primarily on local FOX affiliate however I have noticed the condition on the local CBS affiliate at times. I believe this to be interference of signal between my location and the tower. I receive both signals in the low to mid-90s. I talked to a DTV level 3 representative about this and she said she had a similar problem with a local in her area and the station engineer claimed the problem to be interference with the signal.
