I have a Tivo Series 2 Box with D-Link DWL-G120 Wireless Adapter. My Tivo had no problems working untill I installed Desktop Version 2.3A for windows and started transferring a program to my desktop. I called Tech Support and the guy told me it was my wireless adapter. I believe it's some kind of conflict in the windows program. As soon as I stopped transferring my program Tivo stopped rebooting. I wonder if anyone else has this problem and how it can be fixed. The only suggestion from the tech support is to buy a Tivo wireless adapter.

What version is your adapter? Is that version listed at www.tivo.com/adapters as being fully supported by your TiVo's hardware and software version?

There are some versions of the G120 that almost work, but not quite. The main problem with those versions is reboots. If that is the case, then getting a fully suported adapter should work for you. If it is not, then there is more going on than meets the eye. It could be software glitch, a hard drive problem, something else in your network that the TiVo's wireless driver can't handle, or something I haven't even thought of.

If your adapter is supported, it should work. With that said, the TiVo branded adapter will definitely work better and is the easiest way to fix your problem permanently without needing to do troubleshooting or jumping through any other hoops. It will also transfer a bit faster than your G120 since it has its own processor and is designed to offload work from the TiVo's overworked little processor.
