I just logged on to DTV site and ran through their upgrade menu. "Based on my account history" they offered me an HD Receiver with pro Install and new dish for FREE. I even scheduled an install date. Will this be the HR-20 or what? I thought they were out of stock?

An "hd receiver" is probably exactly what it says is it ... a RECEIVER, not a DVR. If it said HD DVR" that's another story.I just logged on to DTV site and ran through their upgrade menu. It WILL NOT be an hddvr. In order to place an order for one now, you have be put on a waiting list and be called back later to actually schedule the install. But, this is worth checking out. Some customers are now offered one free eq upgrade per year automatically (with a commitment of course.)
Doh...thanks for catching that. I cancelled the order. Back to scratch with no great choices.
