Remote control problem....

NOne of the functions of my remote are now working....in fact, I can't even access anything from the front of the unit. I get a picture, but that's it. Can't change channels or get any menu. Can't even shut the damned thing off. ANy ideas?

First, put in a fresh set of batteries. If that doesn't help, then re-boot the rcvr. by pulling the plug, wait 30 sec. or so and see if that does it.

You may have IR interference in the room which, believe it or not, can keep the front panel buttons from working. Cover the IR sensor on the front of the unit and see if the front panel buttons will work. Also, check for other IR remotes that may be spewing IR.

Wasn't the batteries - wouldn't work from the front of the unit, either.
I rebooted, and now it works fine. Couldn't find any other threads about this. Hope this isn't yet some other problem with the HR10 and 6.x.
