I have my HDTivo hooked up to my tv via HDMI. I recently bought a DVD recorder that I want to hook up to the HDTivo and was going to use SVideo rather than the RCA jacks. But I get no signal at the DVD recorder using it.

Does using HDMI out, cancel out all the other outputs on the HDTivo?

No, but the S-Video and composite outputs are live only when the TiVo is set to 480i.

Hmm...

Interesting, but makes sense. I guess Ill need to knock down to 480i in order to record to DVD-r.

Does the same thing happen thru Coaxial out?

There is no coaxial out on the HR10.

It would be some added circuitry to have the SD outputs live with 480i when another format is chosen. Some other HD receivers can do this, but not the HR10. So yes, you will have to temporarily switch to 480i to record on your DVDR. You'll get 480i on the HDMI output at the same time.
