HD channels going out...

for the last couple of weeks our S3 has been "recording" blank space. It shows its recording on the front panel as well as in the now playing list.

Thing is when you go and play the TV show-under now playing it either is not actually recorded or only a few minutes of it.

is this a cablecard issue? me and my wife are starting to "hate" our S3 more and more :-(

It sounds to me like one of your CableCards is activated and one isn't. Go to the Test Channels menu option for each CableCard and see if they're consistent. If not, call the cable company and request another "hit" to set them up properly.

This happened to me - one was receiving just basic cable while one was digital classic.

Thanks for the help, thats what it was dead card for the HD single. Being replaced today.
