Looking at two differnt TV's

* Mitsubishi WD-Y57
* Samsung HL-S5687W

Just wanted to see if any one here had either of these TV's and if so how does SD programing look from your S3 box? I assume HD content is GREAT either way... but SD is still more common where I am :-(

Also does HDMI out from your S3 look much better then some good quality component cables?

Thank you in advance
John

It may be real tough to find someone who has your examples for TV's and and S3 but let me just tell you this. The pq from the S3 for SD was a huge improvement compared to what it was when I used the SA 8300. YMMV

Digital SD is noticeably better than analog SD, so if you are used to analog SD then you will see an improvement.

I own the Westinghouse LVM-42W2, definitely cheap, but I am very happy with it, love the PQ and I had no problems with it at all.
