So. It sounds to me like a bell is tolling.

I was a fan of My So-Called Life, Sports Night and Arrested Development, so this feels very familiar to me. VM seems destined to join their ranks as another brilliantly original show that for whatever reason could not find an audience.

It's amazing that VM has lasted for three seasons considering how low the ratings have been. To quote another great-but-canceled show Homefront, I choose to accentuate the positive.

Interesting that "One Tree Hill" also got a short order. With "Seventh Heaven" and "Gilmore Girls" definitely gone, and "Smallville" with at most another season or two beyond this one, the CW will have to keep some of their shows around.
