Tivo Show Descriptions

I've got a problem with the show title information that Tivo embeds in a file.

Last night's "supersized" version of The Office messed up recording...the first minute or so of the show recorded at the end of My Name is Earl, and the last minute or so recorded at the start of 30 Rock. Luckily I'd recorded all three shows, so using VideoReDo I snipped off the beginning and end from the other two shows, cut out the commericals and joined the three files. Works perfectly, except that now in Tivo Server it is showing as the episode of My Name Is Earl, apparently picking up the Tivo information from that file. Is there anyway to change that?

Greg Burns wrote a program called TiVo Attach that will let you copy show header information (meta data) from one show to another. You can't edit or modify the data, just attach it to a video.
