I loved the Robert Johnson bit at the start.

the Hell hounds chasing him was nice homage to his song. Hellhound on my trail.

tricking the bad girl was cool. Letting her go...was not. Why worry about what may happen and if she really can climb out of hell, then why even try to banish her in the first place? Stall tactic I guess.

I didnt see any dogs? Were they in my imagination? :)

so are we done with the bar room mom/daughter?

Interesting they showed the whole next part of the season which i assume wont be back for a while since they had no previews of 'next week' per se.

If he sent her to hell, then when (not if) she got back, the first order of business would be taking the husband. If he honored the deal, there would at least be the chance that she would honor it as well. (And usually in these kinds of stories, there are nasty consequences for demons who don't honor at least the strict letter of a deal.)

still makes me wonder why there is even an option to send to hell if they can get out! :)

I guess the message is nothing is permanent (a-la the offer to bring back dad).

The explanation in the show was that it would buy time while the demon was getting her way back out of hell. My guess is that the demons are on Earth on work-release, and when they get sent back to hell, it pisses Satan off that they're not up here doing their work, so he punishes them for a while before he lets them back out.

They're wrong, at least for this week. It's a rerun ("In My Time of Dying").

Oops, 11/30 too.
