Okay episode, not their best. Entertaining enough, and there were certainly enough parts that had me laughing.
Now for the important part: what did Catalina say? We translated it somewhat, but couldn't get the beginning, I know it ends with "pero los dibujos animados son tan costosos. asi mejor me puedes ver bailar." or "but the cartoons are so expensive. it's better to watch me dance." (more or less). What did she say before that?

My Spanish skills are slightly better than Randy's. I'll have to work on that if I'm ever going to retire to Nicaragua...

Randy's reaction when Chistian Slater said "I can see your pickle" had me dying!

Totally!!
Also good to see the Angry Dizzy Hulk and Earl's eye twitch!
Joy: "Are you starin' at my boobs, Dummy?"
This was one of the best episodes of Earl yet. The last one that made me laugh this hard was last season's finale. You know, the one with the stoned & horny mom?

Randy's reaction when Chistian Slater said "I can see your pickle" had me dying!+1 That was hysterical! I also loved the following (paraphrasing):
"Whoever said laughter cures all ills never had gonorrhea." :)

It's been an up and down season for Earl but I thought this one was pretty good.

I liked it overall, but found it a little silly that Earl got so into the tree-hugging thing that he almost went crazy. He seems like he's a little more savvy than that.
Randy's claymation visions were pretty funny, though.

Earl only seems savvy because he hangs out with Randy and Joy.

Christian Slater seemed a little too perfect in this role. I thought he was hilarious with his line readings.
I used to partake a little bit of the doobage.

I loved the Friends reenactments, esp the fountain scene ... in a little plastic pool.

Tvguide.com show commentary said "This was going to be me taking off my head and dusting with it; but the animation was so expensive, it's better that you watch me dance."

Awhile back, Jaime Pressly was on a variety of talk shows explaining how she came up with her accent for Joy Turner.
Well, I was watching A Different World the other night and noticed someone else with a similar accent and mannorisms as Joy.
Does anyone remember Jasmine Guy who played Whitley Gilbert on A Different World.

That's how I took it, too. I can't think of any other plausible explanation for why they'd have six people (three of whom were seen doing the Friends re-enactment in another scene) dancing around in a wading pool with umbrellas.

Okay, that's really close to what I had for the first sentence...thought I must be crazy, so I figured I heard it wrong...thanks.

Yes. Weren't they singing (humming) the Friends theme song while dancing in the "fountain"?
