I can't believe there wasn't a single mention of the money.

It was nice to see Alex/Izzy be able to get past Alex's feelings for Izzy when Izzy just wasn't ready and was caught by surprise with the kiss. Not having either of them dwelling on it and torturing us over it like normally happens on this show was just refreshing.

So McDreamy and McWhiny wind up in the same bubble bath. Graymalkin can tolerate that. Barely.

Burke and Christina are in such deep doo-doo now. Graymalkin wonders what will happen to their careers.

Graymalkin also wonders why Dr. Neil Roberts from Newport, Calif., did not have a cameo appearance. :D

JLB likes Izzy. JLB thinks Izzy is hot! ;)

Great episode as always. I agree, Burke and Cristina are in deep doo.

Nah, if they can take a murderer back, they can let Christina stay on. Burke might have some problems though. Maybe Derrick will get to be chief after all, making his relationship with Meredith even more wrong but that won;t stop those crazy kids.

I enjoyed that the Meredith and Derek romance was relegated to the end. Simple bubble bath scene. Nice.

I'm glad Alex was able to move past the kiss with Izzy. If it was George.....

I liked George confronting Christina and not backing down.

This may be my favorite episode of the series thus far. Very emotional for me. I heart this show!

George is growing a pair it seems. The shin should hit the fat pretty soon it would appear. Though, I have to say that I am surprised that George has the mental capacity to become a doctor... it's clear that there was some genetic mental deficiency that afflicts the O'Malley clan. George's dad must be proud that those two dimwits manage to function in society.

I was pleased. Meredith actually didn't annoy the stuffing out of me this episode. Could it be related to the fact that she didn't have much screen time? Perhaps.

Not sure how much they actually can function. They've been told their father has cancer and a serious heart condition and it takes the 'car engine getting gunked up' analogy before they figure it out and get emotional about it? Sheesh.

That whole scene was just stupid. Maybe George didn't do a good job of explaining it, but no one needs a car analogy to understand tumors metastasizing, or to understand a weak heart interfering with surgery. The car analogy didn't even make sense to me. And what's her name butting in like that isn't going to win points with George.

Otherwise not a bad episode. The scene with McDreamy and Addison trying to help the chief was great.

I couldn't disagree more. His brothers are dopes and were in complete denial (maybe the test were wrong). They don't see their brother as a real doctor. Callie came in and explained it in terms they could wrap their puny little minds around. George seemed grateful.

Yeah, I guess that's how it was meant to play, but I wasn't buying it. I was just cringing the whole time. YMMV. :)

His brothers are dopes...and they like 1957 Bel-Aires.

No way anyone is that stupid.... nevermind two brothers.

Yes.. I know... they are just TV cliches... but come on now, at least TRY to make them somewhat realistic.
