Feature Request: Add channel to favorite via Thumb Up in Guide

My wife likes to use favorites, but it's at least 10 key presses to add / remove channels to favorites via the settings menu. Why can't we use "Thumbs Up" and "Thumbs Down" while in guide to control favorite channels?

If this has been asked / suggested several times, I apologize. I didn't see it in the archives.
