View Full Version : Can't get my TIVO to record same program on differnt chanels.!

As an example, I have set to record all of the "Sex and the City. It will pick up all the shows on one station, but not the other stations that carry the same show? Any help?

Setup another SP for the other channel?

Maybe use wishlist?

What Shawn is hinting at is that Season Passes (SPs) are channel specific. If you set one on channel 25 (for example) it will only record episodes on channel 25, even if there are also episodes on channels 50 and 75.
(Somewhat confusingly, the View Upcoming Episodes screen will show all the episodes on all channels, but the SP will only record from the channel it was set on).

Auto-recording Wishlists on the other hand will record from any channel in your Channels I Receive list.

While this is correct, it's generally a good idea to set up an SP for the channel where the first run shows will be, and wishlist the other so that you have both a SP and a Wishlist in your season pass manager. Of course the SP will have priority.
