I just set up my TIVO and so far only one problem. When I look at my Now Playing List some of the stuff that TIVO Suggestions records is being recorded and you can see MUTE in white letters, I tried to turn this off with the TIVO, the television and the cable box remote but none take the MUTE off and it won't unmute. There is no sound, this only happens on some of them - probably about half.
Called TIVO and the woman I talked to said I must have hit the mute or it been stuck in, but my friend how has TIVO said it should still record the sound even if the mute on the TIVO was stuck - and it doesn't happen on all the Suggestions - for example, it recorded a movie and a spanish language program with no sound - but it recorded off the History channel with no problems. What could be the problem?
