Hi All,

I have a question, I would like to be able to access my two Tivo boxes inside my router via the web interface. For example

https://192.168.15.101/nowplaying/index.html

Obviously I can't forward all port 80 requests to these Tivo boxes? Any way to accomplish this? I would like to be able to download shows when i'm out if town in the hotel.

Thanks,

Greg

Is there a reason why you can't forward all port 80 request to the tivo? Do you have a webserver? Concern of protection?

Also in addition to port 80 you need to do port 443 for logging in securely.

To get around the concern of forwarding all port 80 request to the Tivo I think you can do port remapping and do like port 12345 which goes to port 80 of the Tivo. Then when you login you do https://youripaddy:12345

Also instead of doing IP addy you can setup usually in your router the Dynamic DNS type system, I personally use DynDns.org, but depends on router and all that jazz.
