View Full Version : S02 error on a brand new S3 box..help???

I've had my S3 box a day now, but cannot seem to get it to use the guide info. I can finish guided setup, but then as soon as I change a channel or push the guide button I get a notice I need to call the 1-877 number and activate service. I have done this. Also, at the end of a forced connect to the tivo service I get an S02 error. I've called Tivo support on this issue about 6 times now... I've restarted the box. I've done the complete erase procedure (which takes ~35 minutes) twice now. I've unplugged the box for 2 hours... One technician stated my tivo service level should read C: followed by a series of numbers. My tivo service level (from system information) reads A:-
Does anyone out there know how to fix this? If I can't fix this I'll be sending the box back to tivo.
