We've had our TiVos working with MRV since buying HMO (ahem) when it was first offered, and have never had problems with MRV transfers. Unfortunately a HD crash (exhibited in the false "TiVo has not connected to the TiVo service for 30 days" error) took one TiVo offline for a week, but with a new drive from Weaknees, it's now working again. All network connections and settings are the same as before as far as I can tell*, and everything is still "enabled" at tivo.com.
Both TiVos can see and transfer shows to and from our PCs, and each TiVo can see the other in Now Playing, but when the other TiVo is selected the following error appears:
"(Other TiVo) could not be reached because the connection was unexpectedly broken. Make sure it is plugged in [... etc.]"
Of course I have power-cycled and forced connections to the service. The troubleshooting tips under Messages & Settings have not fixed the problem, and based on some research here I checked for "interrupted" transfers to delete on the surviving TiVo's To Do list and there are none. (I suppose the dead HD may have crashed during a transfer to it, but hopefully that's not the case nor the cause of the problem.)
The workaround - transfer shows to the PC first, then to the other TiVo - is silly and my better half will never go for it. :) Does anyone have any suggestions?

* The only setting I can't recall is which static IP (necessary with my ISP) I had assigned to the now-repaired TiVo, but I'm at least 50% sure I'm using the same one as before.
