There are times when the Law and Order franchise makes a show TOO close to reality. I love CI, but this one was just odd.

That being said, I'm not a Liza fan and I thought she did a good job in this episode.

Yeah, the script was practically written *for* them. All the writers had to do was add in the usual L&O plot twists.

This question isn't about this particular episode, but did they change the opening theme this season or is it my imagination? To me it sounds more like the them from the original L&O than how I remember it sounding before. I never really understood why they needed a slightly different version of the same theme for each show anyway.

LOL... I guess since this one was such a high profile, well publicized case, I was more familiar with the background...

Most of the other stories I have not had the luxury of keeping up with the background...so it's "new to me"...

Yes, Bill Irwin. Also the third guy in the Don't Worry Be Happy video with Bobby McFerrin and Robin Williams.

....oh wait it was really her? I wish old people would just get old. It's obvious when stuff is done to their faces and it looks unnatural.

im surprised he didnt kiss her :)

Bill Irwin is an exceptionally talented Clown.

But he's only a so-so actor. :)

I'm a big fan of L&O:CI, especially when D'Onofrio is on, but this episode just lacked something for me. I didn't like it at all. I'm not sure if I just didn't care for the whole Jon Benet thing or what. Maybe some things that are "ripped from the headlines" should just stay headlines.

I really did like the SVU episode that came on after though!
