I look forward to seeing House cream the cop to pay this one back.

That was a textbook case of police harassment if I ever saw one.

I kept waiting for them to find out that it was something they all ate at the diner - the gunman, the gal and the guy. And maybe some other cases. I kept waiting for that - I see now it would have been more House season one to do that. They had to find a twist.
Unfortunately, harassment is hard to prove. House needs to learn that cold, hard documentation most defenitely is his friend. This cop can realistically make House's life a living hell for a long, long time (at least 2 or 3 epidoses) before he can successfully mount an abuse of power case, I think.
I'm looking forward to this thing between David Morse and House heating up. I think House is gonna have a fight on his hands...but in the end, he's going to put the cop in his place. Maybe with Cuddy or Wilson's help.
I loved Cameron's line about the pedes nurse---"Yeah, I'm hitting that. She's hot, what can I say?" Did you see the guys's eyes go B*O*I*N*G??? Nice, considering she was tired of being ignored.
And who is going to bail House out? Wilson is some fleabag waiting for...? (maybe House can beep him), but there is always Cuddy or Cameron...or Chase.

Is there any doubt that foreman is going to bail house out. I can already imagine the really politcally incorrect lines house and foreman will banter back and forth with from jail.
Solid episode that did a good job of setting things up for the future.

I don't think he's waiting for anyone. I think that's where he's living.

I watched Boston Legal before watching House, so I figured out the heredity secret before they did. Not exactly the same situation, but in the ballpark.
I swear all these writers get together for drinks after work. On TV last week we had two shows with crucifictions, the week before we had two shows with rapists trying to get their victims pregnant.

The problems with the cop will probably continue for a couple of episodes until he or one of his friends/family becomes ill and needs House to save them.

Did anyone else recognize The Big Schwag (from Monster Garage) as the big shaved-head robber at the beginning of the episode? From imdb, he has apparently been in a few shows.

Oh my, Ouch, I mean, good point and it makes some sense now, but ouch for Wilson.

I think it will be interesting to see how the "cop arc" will play out. At least it's something new to go along with Cuddy's pregnant jokes and the Foreman race jabs.
Funny how he got worked on the bet about the new nurse. I enjoyed how that ended.

Two things: Does that guy ever NOT play a cop?
And: "...because I'M hitting that. It's sooooo hot."
They showed House's reaction, then Foreman, then Chase, and ALL had the same reaction. I fell off the couch laughing.
And <wild prediction>Wilson and Cuddy are getting it on! Or at least he's donating to her "maternal cause".</wild prediction>

Ah so that's where I had seen that guy before. I didn't recognize him since he wasn't yelling like an idiot.

Sounds like House needs a lawyer! A good one!
Hopefully this whole set up isn't just an excuse to get Stacy back on the show

And he was an L-1011 pilot in "The Langoliers." (I love that campy miniseries!)

I forgot, what did House find wrong with him on the first visit? Anyone remember?

His manhood was dry because of chewing tabacco.

Staph infection on his "private place." He was chewing nicotine gum, House explaned, which caused dehydration, and bingo! (The gum also precluded taking the cop's temp orally) :p
LOVED House throwing the swab away as he fled the clinic! :D
edit: doesn't count as a smeek because my answer is different..and I believe correct ;)

Thanks guys. Guess I would take it hard if the doc told me the ole equipment didn't work and was an ass when he said it.
House could always sue the cop for tripping him in the clinic. :D

He was also the evil plague spreading scientist in 12 Monkeys.

Morse starred in a pretty good series a few years ago, "Hack". IIRC, he was an ex-cop, tho.

I thought the point was that it was NOT staph or any infection?
