I guess they've used up their effects budget for the season since they had a pretty lame set of imagery for their simulation.

I did enjoy the story though felt that they had a pretty weak case by the end of the trial, even with that simulation. I did like seeing where the ring went. Though it wasn't completely clear who the phone call was from, and it all seemed just a little too quick to have been arranged by the mother or the family lawyer. If that were the case I'd expect the officer to be the one making the call once he got on the scene.

Lvoed how Bower accused Ron of staging the mother's entrance into the courtroom.

Ron's comment at the verdict was pretty cold, but, within character.

I watched thins, but I'm thinking of losing the SP. These people are cynical, manipulative and mercenary. I find them to be without redeeming qualities.

Life is too short.

I'm also thinking of canceling my SP for Justice.

As characters, the four main lawyers are really pretty shallow. They also seem to move en masse to various locations (diner, hangar, desert) for no reason to discuss the case, when the law offices should suffice. (I think this is the producers' way to inject some visual interest to distract from some pretty staid dialog.)

What really bugged me though was the bumper before the final scene:

THE DEATH OF
JASON STACK AND CLAIRE MILLER

DEATH? Shouldn't it have been "DEATHS"?
