Tivo desktop and Out Of Memory windows

HI All

I have the latest version of Tivo Desktop running on winxp pro system

After a few hours i get several out of memory windows popping up and I need to reboot to re-run the program

Any ideas on fixing this?

I've been having the same problem.......20 - 30 pop ups OUT OF MEMORY
with an access violation at adress 7C91B1FA in module. I've called Tivo support, and they were'nt of any help. Any chance you've solved the problem?

how much Ram do you have?

2 gb of ram

well it could be one of two things either there is a memory leak, or it could be that all the virtual memory could be getting used up. How big is your harddrive(s)

I tested my memory and it was fine. I have 1/3 of my harddrive being used. So there is more than enough space What is pytivo?

I've seen out of memory errors happen because of bad files. Are you sharing any directories with TiVo Desktop, downloading any web video, or attempting to transfer anything from the TiVo unit to a portable device using TiVo Desktop? It could be something's fouled up with one of those processes.

You can try the TiVo Desktop Cleaner app to completely remove all traces of TD from your system, and then re-install, and see if the error comes right back:
