I thought Vanished was also in danger of disappearing for good, but all you are reporting is the timeslot change.

Some reports had it that Fox cut the script order down to 13 with directives to wrap up the mystery in a shortened season.

I'll take that over 'imminent cancellation'. I know you're only covering new shows, but nything on Veronica Mars?

Sorry, I didn't write the list, so I don't have any more detail than what it says. This is a summary of what the advertising buyers I work with were told by the advertising sellers at the networks.

This list was from Tuesday of last week and it appears that today Fox News is reporting "imminent cancellation" of Studio 60. Either they are interpreting this "on the fence" message the network is giving off as "imminent cancellation" or the decision is much closer to being made in the past few days.

It was reported quite a while ago that FOX moved Vanished to Friday night and has made no further decision on the status of the show pending ratings from that slot. But it's a good bet that it won't succeed on Friday either and it will finish its run in the 13 eps you talked about.

I know you're only covering new shows, but nything on Veronica Mars? The guys on the TV Guide podcast said it's doing pretty good this year; ratings even have gone UP a bit since the season premiere, and its holding a lot of its Gilmore Girls lead in audience. CW should be pleased.

Yup, this is exactly what will happen. It was officially announced today, according to the local paper's TV/Radio reporter. This has yet to show up on Futon Critic or Zap2it.

Entertainment Tonight had a statement from NBC on Studio 60 last night. They stated that Studio 60 was not being cancelled and that they were making no changes to the show.
I hate when things like this come out. I get the feeling that the next sentence the following day will be a cancellation notice.
Sure hope they give it a full season.

It's like the dreaded vote of confidence from the owner to the coach you always know he is days away from being fired.

Oh and 30 Rock is being moved to Thursdays and Knights of Prosperity is a mid season replacement. I have seen the pilot to Knights and know a lot of critics that have and it is freaking hilarious.
