When using TIVO HME with Media Center 11.0 server, if I scroll too quickly, or access certain playlists, I get the below error and am required to disconnect and go back to music home again. It re-connects just fine, and will play again for awhile, but inevitably at some point i will still get the error:
An unexpected error occurred while accessing the server.
error 3-5-6
Is this a TIVO error, or is this an error from the Media Center server program?

I also see this periodically when trying to navigate folders or play MP3s. It seems as if there's a lag on the PC, so TiVo gives this error. Again, it's inconsistent. Open folder, browse around - bang, error. Repeat, no error. Select play on large folder, plays first 3 and then error pops up.
Note: I'm running Windows XP SP3. I recently installed windows search 4.0 (to allow Library support from Windows 7 box). That seemed to aggravate the issue. I'm running pyTivo and streambaby as a service. I have ZoneAlarm Extreme Securitys. TiVo HD.
Any suggestions? (apart from flattop and load Linux).

I haven't seen that behavior with pyTivo since this change (http://repo.or.cz/w/pyTivo/wmcbrine.git/commit/f02442af082b64b5f4688f76731626b6b2167521), on March 15, 2009. Are you using an older version?

William, thanks for the reply. Yes, looks like I have a pretty old version.
I'll download the latest and give it a go. Thanks again for the quick reply.
