Wrong forum area, but the TiVo Glo premium remote appears to be compatible with the S3:

Has anybody used the TiVo Glo Premium Remote with the HR10-250 yet?

Let me know, cause my remote has no ink on the buttons anymore & this is looking like a sweet, sweet replacement.

Yes it works fine with the HR10. There is no Exit button, in it's place is an Input button for controlling TV, etc. Select button is in the center of the arrow buttons. Ratio button is labeled Aspect. It has a limited learning feature, see thread here (http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb/showthread.php?t=323861).

yes, that is the remote that comes with the S3. works fine for the hr10-250 also, as i use it for both, it has a dvr 1/2 switch for that function. just make sure if your using both in same room to change both remote ID codes to number other than 0.

Just got my Tivo Glow Blacklit Remote. Wow, it was totally worth the $50 bucks. With the old Tivo remote I never could work my A/V receiver. I just bought the remote because it was so pimped out looking. I didn't know you can teach it IR commands. I totally recommend it to everyone!!!

Also didn't realize that on the HR10-250 6.3.a they also improved the remote setup screen. Now when you are in the remote codes it tells you to press select when finished. I know before you almost had to leave the room when holding the buttons, otherwise you start from ground up. Another thing I noticed, either it knew it was a Tivo remote vs Directv Tivo remote, Because it said Press Tivo and Tv Power. Maybe an overlook on the upgrade.
