I have been having problems recording Lost on my hr10-250. This has happened several weeks in a row now. It will start to record and the signal comes in real choppy and distorted. Then it will just stop recording. It will say it is still recording but nothing actually records past 2-3 mintues. This has happened every week since the new season started. Thie first episode I didn't catch it but have been able to catch the other weeks. I am recording OTA HD. This is the only channel this happens on and one of the only shows. A few other ABC HD shows also do it.

ABC's signal is diff then most everyone elses. So it's possible your antenna needs adjusting or replacing? I know here ABC is difficult to get tuned in just right without some effort.
I had issues last night with the blowing wind and my roofmounted antenna, so my HD Lost picure was awful long enough I had to stop watching.

I just got HD installed back in August and it has done it on every episode of Lost. Can no figure out why on Wednesdays at 9 it acts up.

How is it different? ABC is on diferent channels in different towns. How do you know where the guy lives based on what he said? And and the wind is ABC's fault?
I could say that ABC in my town... Vegas.... is perfect ALL the time, and it is.
How is this helping him?
So how about this:
What town are u living in?
What channel does ABC use in your town (analog and digital)?
What are you using for an antenna (roof? rabbit ears, etc)?
Have you visited http://www.antennaweb.org/ to see if you have the right kind of antenna? (try going there, plug in your address and see what kind of antenna you are supposed to be running and how diff netwoks have diff xmit towers, etc.)
What kind of signal strength do you get on ABC vs the other channels?
Have you tried watching the show live and not recording it and is it watchable?
Have you tried adding another show from ABC to your season past to see if it has the same issues?
Have any other shows from any other channels had (even slight) issues?
WHat software version are you running on your Tivo?
Anything else you can think of offering up can help figure this out...

well a couple key things are missing:
1) signal strength
2) what antennaweb has to say about your location. You see, antennaweb will tell you where the transmitter towers are. Like FOX could be on one mountain top and ABC might be 45 degrees to the right on another. Antennaweb will let you know if your antenna is pointed in the right direction. It might be something as simple (lets hope) that the isnatller did not point your antenna in the right direction.
