Playboy channel subscription always records with Keep Forever... why?

I subscribe to the Playboy channel, just like HBO. My TiVo sets every recording from that channel as permanent (Keep until I delete or something like that) with the green dot.

There is a pay-per-view Playboy channel that is a different channel number, but that's not what I choose when I set a recording.

How can I get it to stop? I have to go and change the Keep setting for every single program from that Playboy subscription channel.

You should be able to fix this with the options sub-menu on the season pass manager.

Well, once your TiVo was exposed to those types of shows, it became addicted. The box probably replays the episodes late at night when everyone's asleep. ;)

I don't do any season passes on that channel, b/c too many episodes are repeated several times a day with the same description, so I'd get 20 of everything. It's pick-and-choose for that channel.

This problem is a doozy to figure out but I'm gonna be surprised if nobody here has never heard of this before.

Some chs are considered PPV even by subscription. Playboy is one of these.

Whenever TiVo records PPV it automagically sets that show as KUID. This prevents autodeletion of PPV before the show is watched.

There is no way to prevent this except to change the keep until options for each show.
