No update. Do I have a problem?

It seems most if not all of the updates have been done but I am still waiting.

Could I have some other problem?

Mine was zippered 3 months ago could there be something that went wrong and its not downloading the software. I don't have it connected to a phone line but since it's zippered I can check for the files directly.

Any thoughts?

If it's not connected to a phone line, it will never dial out to authorize the 6.3a install.

Consider yourself lucky! :up: I would wait till the bugs shake out.

I've never done this, but I think I remember that zippering the box flips a flag that prevents upgrades.

If it's not connected to the phone line it won't install the upgrade but it should download it. Since mine is hacked I can just look for the files. Once the files are there I can make it install.

I seem to remember something about preventing upgrades too but I can't find anything.

If you want audio drop outs on Fox Ota and smaller on other like KXTA you should plug in your phone. I thought it might not happen to me but the drop out are getting on my last nerve. Seems that reporting to DTV Tech and being told first to complain that they are not as worried as mush as they were with the 70-79 6.3 audio drop outs. Is it worth it to you to get folders, sure it is faster with 6.3a, but if use use FOX OTA alot it may not be.

Many people with hacked HR10s had to force a call to get the 6.3 slices to download (myself included). If you don't have a phone line nearby, there is a thread in the Underground forum about getting it to use ethernet for calling TiVo.

That was it. I made some changes to allow for daily call over the internet and the next day I had 6.3a.
