In case anyone is wondering what may happen if you upgrade your HR10-250 with a new hard drive...
I replaced my existing hard drive with a new 500 GB drive tonight. The drive came with the 6.3a software on it (from Weaknees). Installation went smoothly (except I had to call D* to get my locals and subscriptions reactivated- that was the only aggravating part of the process).
I did have 6.3a on the old drive that I replaced.
